It is not an accident of web design, and it is worth understanding before you trust any other page. capbridge.com carries a tickets and hours page, an FAQ, a getting here page and a BC residents pass page. All four discuss admission. None of them prints a rate.

The store that does is on a different subdomain, shop.capbridge.com, it refuses automated readers, and it renders prices only after a browser executes its scripts and you begin choosing a date.

The practical consequence is that most Capilano prices you will read were copied from another blog rather than from the park, and many are a season or two old. We opened the store in a real browser for this page and printed what it listed, with the check date in the freshness box above. If you are reading this well after that date, open the store yourself: it is the only authoritative source, the park says rates are subject to change, and the park guide explains what the admission covers whatever it costs on the day.

Save 25% after 5:00 p.m., until October 8, 2026

The Summer Twilight Rate is the park's own promotion: "See the park in a whole new evening light after 5:00 p.m. and save 25% off admission." On the adult rate that is CA$57.71 before GST, about $41.80, and the current season closes at 7:00 p.m. with an extra hour allowed inside. The catch is light rather than money. In September the canyon under the Treetops walkways is dim well before the posted close, so the twilight ticket suits the bridge and the Cliffwalk more than the forest floor.

Adults and seniors save online

The park states that "Adults & Seniors save on admission online" without saying by how much, since it publishes no walk-up rate to compare against. Read it as a reason to buy before you arrive rather than as a quantified discount, and note that the discount does not exist for youth or child tickets.

What is not a discount

Buying through a third party is not one. The card version of the park's own ticket is priced within a few dollars of the gate, which is the honest position: this is a convenience and cancellation choice, not a saving. And there is no city pass to fold this into. citypass.com's destination list has seventeen cities with Toronto as the only Canadian one, and gocity.com/vancouver returns a 404, so any listing offering a Vancouver pass containing Capilano is describing a product that is not sold.

If you can prove British Columbia residency, buying a single day ticket is close to a mistake. The park sells an annual pass "for the price of one day's regular admission", valid from the date of purchase for one full year, including the seasonal events Canyon Frights, Love Lights and Canyon Lights. Proof of residency is required at the time of booking.

Two conditions worth knowing before you count on it. Pass holders must reserve an arrival time online before each visit, and the park warns that there are a limited number of pass reservations per hour during peak event times, so Canyon Lights in December is exactly when a pass is hardest to use. And the pass cannot be attached to a ticket bought elsewhere: the card version of the admission states plainly that it is not applicable for a BC Annual Pass.

Your date is fixed once you buy

The store's own line above the calendar is "Please select carefully, date and time changes not permitted." There is no rescheduling window and no stated refund. If the weather forecast is the reason you are hesitating, note that the park runs rain or shine and the rainforest is arguably better wet, but if your plans could move, buy the refundable card instead.

The arrival window is a window, not a slot

You choose a date and an arrival time, arrive within that window, and then stay as long as you like: "Guests may enter the Park anytime between the listed entry time and stay as long as they like." One single day admission covers everything inside. So the timed entry is a crowd control device rather than a limit on your visit, and a late morning window does not shorten your day.

Children and youth need an adult

Guests under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a person aged 18 or over, which the store repeats on both the youth and child rows. Children aged 0 to 5 are free but are not sold online; their ticket is issued on arrival, so count them in your group at the entrance rather than in your basket.

The park names the sites it will not accept

Its ticket policies state that tickets are only valid when purchased through capbridge.com or authorised partners, that it is aware of fraudulent websites impersonating the park, and that it does not accept tickets bought through capbridge.ltd or capilanobridge.com. An ID check is carried out at entry. Buying from the official store or a named partner such as the operator card here is the way to stay clear of that.

Wheelchair users pay nothing, and cannot cross

Complimentary admission is given to guests using wheelchairs, because the suspension bridge, Treetops Adventure and the Cliffwalk are not wheelchair accessible. What is accessible is the Story Centre, Kia'palano, the shops and the restaurants. Strollers are not permitted at all.

Neither seasonal event is a separate ticket. Canyon Frights runs from October 9 to November 1, 2026 with the park open 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and extended hours to 9:00 p.m. on October 23 to 25 and October 30 to November 1. Canyon Lights runs from November 20, 2026 to January 10, 2027, with the park open 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and closed on December 25.

Both are covered by ordinary admission at the rate for your age, so the price table above is the price table for them too.

The difference is demand rather than cost. Evening arrival windows in December are the busiest of the year, pass holder reservations are capped per hour, and the park's own advice is to book early. If your visit falls in that window, treat the arrival time as the scarce item and buy well ahead.

Value for money is the lowest of the four scores on the park's dated admission, at 4.4 out of 5, against 5.0 for the guide experience, on 2,737 reviews averaging 4.8. That pattern is consistent: people rate the park highly and its price grudgingly. Mariana from Brazil, five stars, put it exactly: "It's expensive, but it's a good place to visit.

If you're here as a tourist, visit it!"

The reading that holds up: if you have a car, a free morning and a tolerance for trail mud, the free bridge does most of the emotional work for nothing. If you have two days in Vancouver, no car, and want one North Shore outing that runs itself from Canada Place, the ticket buys back the logistics as much as the structures. The store is plain and slightly dated, and the order of operations is not obvious.

• Add children aged five and under to your count mentally, not to the basket, because their ticket is issued on arrival
• Choose the date and arrival window second, reading the warning that changes are not permitted
• Check the season block for your date, since a November 2 visit closes at 5:00 p.m. and a December one runs to 9:00 p.m.
• Expect GST to be added at checkout, because every published rate is pre-tax
• If your plans could still move, buy the refundable card version instead and keep the 24 hour cancellation

At the gate itself, the park runs a verification check on entry, so bring the card you paid with and photo ID for a student ticket. There is no stated walk-up price and no stated sell-out policy, so a same day visit is a gamble on a busy summer afternoon and routine in the first fortnight of November. If you live in British Columbia, buy the annual pass, because it costs one day's admission and covers the seasonal events. If you are visiting and your date is locked, the park's own store is the cleanest purchase and the cheapest before tax. If your date could still move, buy the same admission on a card: it is listed at $57.10, which is under the all-in gate figure, and it cancels free up to 24 hours before.

Buy a combination only if you actually want the second attraction and the transport, and check the arithmetic first, because the Capilano and Grouse coach carries about $123 of admissions inside its $191.37. And if the number is simply too high for what it is, the free bridge at Lynn Canyon is fifteen minutes further out with no ticket of any kind.
